Clutch Pedal Free Play

  1. Depress clutch pedal by hand until resistance is felt. Measure amount of free play at clutch pedal. Clutch pedal free play should be .6-1.1" (15-25 mm). If free play is not as specified, loosen or tighten clutch cable joint nut at release arm until correct specification is obtained.
  2. After adjusting clutch pedal free play, measure release lever free play. Release lever free play should be .02-.06" (.5-1.5 mm). If release lever free play is not within specification, replace defective parts as necessary.
