Lower Control Arm Bushings: Installation

  1. Lightly lube bushings before pressing. Ensure front bushing is installed correctly. See Figure . Using press and spacers/sockets, install front bushing until bushing flange contacts control arm housing edge.
  2. Using press and Bushing Remover/Installer Set (09951-16040), install rear bushing until flange contacts control arm. See Figure . Install lower control arm. See LOWER CONTROL ARM & BALL JOINT  .
