Mode Actuator

  1. Using jumper wires, connect battery positive voltage to mode actuator terminal "b" (Black/White wire) and battery negative to actuator terminal "a" (Black wire). See Fig 1 . See IDENTIFYING MODE ACTUATOR TERMINALS  table.
  2. Using a third jumper wire, ground mode actuator terminal "c" (Gray/Blue wire). Mode actuator should be in vent mode.
  3. Using the third jumper wire, ground mode actuator terminal "d" (Gray/Black wire). Mode actuator should be in bi-level mode.
  4. Using the third jumper wire, ground mode actuator terminal "e" (Red/White wire). Mode actuator should be in heat mode.
  5. Using the third jumper wire, ground mode actuator terminal "f" (Pink/Green wire). Mode actuator should be in defrost-heat mode.
  6. Using the third jumper wire, ground mode actuator terminal "g" (Gray/Red wire). Mode actuator should be in defrost mode. If actuator lever is not as specified, replace mode actuator.
