Disabling & Activating Air Bag System
- Obtain radio anti-theft code (if equipped) from vehicle owner and write down preset radio frequencies. To disable air bag system, turn ignition off and remove key. Disconnect and shield negative battery cable.
- To activate system, turn ignition switch to II (driving) position. Ensure no one is inside vehicle and connect negative battery cable. Perform system operation check to ensure proper system operation. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
