Abs Warning Light Stays On
- Ensure ignition is in LOCK position. Disconnect harness connector at ABS actuator assembly. Turn ignition on. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal No. 6 (Blue/Orange wire) on harness connector. See Figure . If ABS warning light is off, replace ABS actuator assembly and recheck light. If light is illuminated, go to next step.
- Ensure ground wire is connected. Remove combination meter from instrument panel. See appropriate INSTRUMENT PANELS article in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT. Measure resistance between ground and terminal No. 12 (Blue/Orange wire) on combination meter 16-pin harness connector. If resistance is less than 2 ohms, replace combination meter. If resistance is 2 ohms or greater, repair open Blue/Orange wire.
