Removal & Installation

  1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Discharge A/C system, using approved refrigerant recovery/recycling equipment. Remove front bumper. Remove front grille, if necessary.
  2. Disconnect refrigerant hose(s) from condenser fittings. Disconnect condenser fan harness connector. Remove condenser fan and condenser as an assembly. Plug hoses to prevent contamination.
  3. To install, reverse removal procedure. If condenser is replaced, add 1.0 oz. of PAG refrigerant oil. Evacuate and recharge A/C system. Check for leaks.
