Idle-Up Circuit (4WD Models)

EBCM is linked to Engine Control Module (ECM) by an idle-up circuit. EBCM commands ECM to increase idle speed during an ABS stop on an icy road surface. Increased idle speed reduces engine braking, preventing early wheel lock-up and enhance brake modulation.
