Front Wiper/Washer Switch

Disconnect front wiper/washer switch connector. Ensure continuity exists across specified switch terminals with switch in appropriate position. See appropriate FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY table. Replace combination switch if continuity is not as specified.

FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY (ESTEEM)

Switch Position (1) Terminal-To-Terminal Wire Colors
OFF BLU & BLU/WHT
INT (2) BLK, BLU & BLU/BLK
LOW Speed BLU & YEL/BLU
HIGH Speed YEL/BLU & BLU/RED
WASHER ON BLK & BLU/BLK
(1) See appropriate wiring diagram for terminal identification. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  .
(2) Test intermittent wiper relay. See INTERMITTENT WIPER RELAY  .
FRONT WIPER/WASHER SWITCH CONTINUITY (GRAND VITARA & VITARA)

Switch Position (1)(2) Terminal-To-Terminal
OFF As & +1
INT (3)
LOW Speed B3 & +1
HIGH Speed B3 & +2
WASHER ON (3)

(3) Test intermittent wiper relay. See INTERMITTENT WIPER RELAY  .
