Vehicle Speed Sensor: Esteem

Disconnect Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between VSS terminals. Resistance should be about 300-450 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace VSS. See VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
