Passenger-Side Air Bag Module: Removal
- Before proceeding, read air bag service precautions section. See AIR BAG SAFETY PRECAUTIONS . Disable the SIR system. See DISABLING & ACTIVATING AIR BAG SYSTEM .
- Passenger-side air bag module is located on right side of instrument panel. Disconnect negative battery cable. Open glove box, then while pressing glove box stopper, pull out glove box from instrument panel. Disconnect connector. Remove 6 attaching bolts. Remove module from vehicle. See Figure.
