Blower Motor Resistor

  1. Blower motor resistor is mounted in front lower blower motor housing. Disconnect wiring harness connector from blower motor resistor. Using DVOM, measure resistance between blower motor resistor High and Low terminals. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 2.0 ohms.
  2. Measure resistance between blower motor resistor High and M1 terminals. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 1.0 ohms.
  3. Measure resistance between blower motor resistor High and M2 terminals. See Fig 1 . Resistance should be about 0.5 ohms. If resistances are not as specified, replace blower motor resistor. See BLOWER MOTOR RESISTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
