Repair as needed. Inspect starting system. Ensure starter is functioning correctly. See appropriate STARTERS article in STARTING & CHARGING SYSTEMS. Repair as needed. Go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect battery cables. Disconnect harness connector at ABS actuator assembly. Inspect following connections and terminals for poor connection. Repair as needed. If no problems are found, go to next step.
    • Battery cable connections.
    • Negative battery cable body connections.
    • Positive battery cable connection at starter and main fuse.
    • ABS actuator terminals No. 1, 2, 3 and 15.
  3. Ensure battery is disconnected. Measure resistance between terminal No. 4 (Black wire) on ABS actuator harness connector and negative battery cable. If resistance is less than 2 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 2 ohms or greater, repair open Black wire.
  4. Connect positive and negative battery cables. Ensure ABS actuator harness connector is disconnected. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminals No. 1, 2 (White/Blue wires) and 15 (Yellow/Green wire). Battery voltage should be present at all terminals. If voltage is as specified, replace ABS actuator assembly. If voltage is not as specified, repair suspect open circuit.
