Removal & Installation

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disable air bag system. See AIR BAG SYSTEM SAFETY article in GENERAL SERVICING. Remove steering column hole cover. Disconnect mode actuator connector and actuator rod from heater case. Remove mode actuator form heater case. To install, reverse removal procedure.
