Disabling & Activating Air Bag System

To disable SRS, turn ignition off. Disconnect and shield negative and positive battery cables After battery cable is disconnected, wait at least 20 SECONDS before servicing SRS. To activate SRS, reconnect positive and then negative battery cable. Observe AIR BAG warning light to verify system is functioning properly. See SYSTEM OPERATION CHECK .
