Preliminary Inspection

Verify customer's complaint. Before performing any testing, perform a visual inspection. On Esteem, Grand Vitara & Vitara, check fuse No. 3 (60-amp). On Swift, check fuse No. 2 (60-amp). Both fuses are located in underhood fuse box next to battery. Check Central Junction Box (CJB) and system harness connectors for loose, damaged or corroded terminals.
