Control Rods: Removal
- Raise and support vehicle, allowing suspension to hang free. Disconnect brake flexhose from bracket on control rod by removing "E" clip. Scribe location marks on mounting bracket and toe-in adjustment cam for installation reference.
- Remove outer control rod nut from knuckle. Remove toe-in adjustment cam bolt. See Figure. Lift off control rod. Check control rod bushings for wear.
NOTE:
Ensure control rod toe-in adjustment cam bolt is installed with cam facing down.
