Mode Control Lever/Buttons
The mode control lever or push-buttons control the flow of air into the vehicle. When control lever or push-button is in the ventilation position, air is discharged from the center and side outlets of the instrument panel. When lever or push-button is in the bi-level position, warmed air is discharged from the floor outlets and cooler air is discharged from center and side outlets. When temperature control lever or push-button is in maximum heating or cooling position, all outlets will discharge air at chosen temperature.
When mode control lever or push-button is in heat position, heated air is discharged from the floor outlets only. In heat/defrost position, heated air is discharged from floor outlets and windshield and side defrost outlets. When lever or push-button is in the defrost position, heated air is discharged from the windshield and side defrost outlets.
