Check Engine/Service Engine Soon (SES)

CHECK ENGINE/SERVICE ENGINE SOON light will illuminate when ignition switch is turned to RUN position and will turn off when engine is started. CHECK ENGINE/SERVICE ENGINE SOON light will blink or stay illuminated if emission system malfunction has been detected.
