Evaporator Temperature Sensor / Switch: Description and Operation

EVAPORATOR THERMISTOR




A thermistor is a temperature sensor to sense the temperature of air discharge from evaporator. The electrical characteristic is shown.

When temperature is lower than specified, amplifier makes magnetic clutch turn off to prevent evaporator from frosting.
