Mechanical System
- Depress clutch pedal to point of resistance. Measure clutch pedal free play distance. Clutch pedal free play should be .6-.8" (15-20 mm). If free play is not within specification, loosen or tighten clutch cable joint nut as necessary. Clutch cable joint nut is located at release lever. See Fig 1
.
- After adjusting clutch pedal free play, measure release lever free play. Release lever free play should not be more than .08" (2 mm). If release lever free play is not within specification, replace defective parts as necessary.
