Hydraulic System
- Depress clutch pedal to point of resistance. Measure clutch pedal free play distance. See Fig 1
. Clutch pedal free play should be .24-.51" (6-13 mm). If free play is not within specification, check pedal arm and master cylinder for wear. Replace defective component as needed.
- After checking clutch pedal free play, measure master cylinder push rod free play. Free play should not be more than .12" (3 mm). If push rod free play is not within specification, replace clevis pin or pedal arm.
