Removal (Vitara)
- Relieve fuel system pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Disconnect negative battery cable. On 1.6L models, detach intake manifold stiffener from front of intake manifold. On 2.0L models, remove PCV hose and breather hose.
- On all models, disconnect all injector connectors. Remove fuel feed and return hose clamp retaining bolt. Remove retaining bolts from fuel rail. Lift fuel rail and remove injectors.
