Diagnostic Tests: Notes

When trouble shooting transaxle, first check for stored DTCs. See appropriate SELF-DIAGNOSTICS article in ENGINE PERFORMANCE. Repair as necessary. If no DTCs are present, perform manual shifting test to determine if problem is electrical or mechanical related. See MANUAL SHIFTING TEST  under DIAGNOSIS & TESTING.
