Dual-Pressure Switch

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2001 Suzuki Vitara, 2001 Suzuki Grand Vitara, 2000 Suzuki Vitara, and 2000 Suzuki Grand Vitara. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

With temperature at 77°F (25°C), A/C system properly charged and A/C system (compressor) operating, check dual-pressure switch operation. If pressure is 28 psi (2.0 kg/cm2 ) or less, low pressure switch should not show continuity. If pressure is 455 psi (32.0 kg/cm2 ) or greater, high pressure switch should not show continuity. If continuity is not as specified, replace dual-pressure switch.
