Power Door Lock System Components Inspection

Power Door Lock Switch
Inspect switch continuity between terminals.










Power Door Lock Actuator
1. Disconnect power door lock actuator coupler (2).
2. Connect (+) cord and (-) cord of 12 V battery to coupler terminal and actuator body (1) as shown.
3. Actuator is proved to be operating properly if (-) cord connection to terminal "A" results in "Lock" and its connection to terminal "B" results in "Unlock".







Controller
1. Disconnect power door lock controller coupler (1).
2. Connect (+) cord and (-) cord of 12 V battery to coupler terminal "A", "B" and "C" as shown in the figure.
3. Disconnect cord from terminal "C" and connect it to terminal "D".
4. Repeat Steps 2) and 3) several times and if relay operation is heard every time, it means that controller is operating.
