Magnet Clutch (Denso Compressor)




a. Inspect pressure plate and rotor for signs of oil.
b. Check clutch bearings for noise and grease leakage.
c. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance of stator coil between clutch lead wire and ground.
If measured resistance is not within tolerance, replace coil.

Standard resistance: 3.9 - 4.3 Ohms at 20 °C, 68 °F
