Test C: Abs Warning Light Flashes Constantly
- If jumper wire is installed in diagnostic connector, go to next step. If jumper wire is not installed in diagnostic connector, check for voltage between switch terminal at diagnostic connector No. 2 (Violet wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, replace ABS control module. If battery voltage does not exist, repair short to ground in Violet wire between diagnostic connector and ABS control module harness connector.
- Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light flashes any DTC, ABS warning light is operating properly. Service DTC as necessary. If flashing does not correspond to a DTC, replace ABS control module.
