Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit

Cruise control Electronic Control Unit (ECU) delivers an input signal to control overdrive (O/D) operation in accordance with vehicle speed when cruise control is operating. If vehicle speed drops 2 MPH less than the set speed during cruise control operation while in O/D, O/D is released to prevent reduction in vehicle speed. Once vehicle speed is greater than the set speed, O/D is resumed. If coolant temperature is low, transaxle will not shift into O/D. Cruise control ECU is located under center console.
