Back Door Assembly Removal And Installation

Back Door Assembly Components:

Removal

1. Remove quarter inner trim (3) and quarter window trim.
2. Disconnect wire harness connector (2) inside back door to take it out from door.







3. Remove back door balancer lower (door side) fitting screws.
4. Remove door hinge bolts, and then door.







Installation

Reverse removal sequence noting the following points.

- Securely connect coupler.
- If striker shaft (2) is not approximately aligned with the center of groove of door latch (1), tap striker shaft with plastic hammer and adjust it.







- Adjust door by rubber cushion (1).
Rubber cushions installed at both sides of back door are of screw-adjustable type. Turn cushion to adjust door for proper position.







- After installing all parts and adjusting properly, check back door for proper operation (open close and lock).
