Test C: Abs Warning Light Flashes Constantly

  1. If jumper wire is installed in diagnostic connector, go to next step. If jumper wire is not installed in diagnostic connector, check for voltage between switch terminal at diagnostic connector No. 2 (Violet wire) and ground. See Figure . If battery voltage exists, replace ABS control module. If battery voltage does not exist, repair short to ground in Violet wire between diagnostic connector and ABS control module harness connector.
  2. Turn ignition on. If ABS warning light flashes any DTC, ABS warning light is operating properly. Service DTC as necessary. If flashing does not correspond to a DTC, replace ABS control module.
