TCM Circuit Check

  1. Turn ignition off. Disconnect TCM harness connectors. Check for poor terminal contact. Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, turn ignition on. Using a DVOM, measure voltage between ground and TCM harness connector E26 terminal No. 20 (Black/White wire). If reading is 10-14 volts, go to next step. If reading is not as specified, repair open in Black/White wire.
  2. Turn ignition off. Using a DVOM, check for continuity between ground and TCM harness connector E26 terminal No. 15 and 16. If continuity is present, power and ground circuits are okay at this time. If continuity is not present, repair open in Black/Blue wire between TCM and chassis ground. Retest system.
