Vehicle Speed Sensor

Vehicle Speed Sensor (VSS) is a pulse generator type sensor which is mounted on transaxle case. VSS detects revolution speed of the counter driven gear to provide a vehicle speed signal to TCM. Malfunction of VSS will cause TCM to turn off all shift solenoids, cancel reverse inhibit control and flash O/D OFF indicator light.
