Scan Tool Method

  1. Using a Tech-1 or other OBD-II compatible scan tool, interface PCM by connecting to OBD-II 16-pin DLC, located under instrument panel to left of steering column. Retrieve DTC following scan tool manufacturer's instructions.
  2. If a DTC is present, identify DTC and diagnose accordingly. See DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES IDENTIFICATION  table, then proceed to DIAGNOSTIC TESTS  . After repairs are made, clear DTC. See CLEARING TROUBLE CODES  . Test drive vehicle and ensure OD/OFF indicator or MIL does not illuminate.

P0715  Input/Turbine Speed Sensor Circuit
P0720  VSS (Transmission) Circuit
P0741  TCC Circuit Performance
P0743  TCC Solenoid Circuit
P0751  No. 1 Shift Solenoid Performance
P0753  No. 1 Shift Solenoid Circuit
P0756  No. 2 Shift Solenoid Performance
P0758  No. 2 Shift Solenoid Circuit
P1875  4WD "LO" Switch Circuit
