Blower Resistor

  1. Blower resistor is mounted in front lower blower motor housing. Disconnect wiring harness from resistor. Check resistance between resistor's Pink wire terminal (high speed) and Pink/Black wire terminal (low speed). Resistance should be about 2.0 ohms.
  2. Check resistance between resistor's Pink wire terminal and Pink/Blue wire terminal (medium-high speed). Resistance should be about 1.0 ohms. Check resistance between resistor's Pink wire terminal and Pink/Green wire terminal (medium-high speed). Resistance should be about 0.5 ohms. If resistance is not as specified, replace blower motor resistor.
