Bleeding Procedure

CAUTION:
DO NOT allow reservoir to run dry during brake bleeding procedure. Use only clean brake fluid. Ensure brake fluid is clean. DO NOT mix different brands of brake fluid, as they may not be compatible.
For ABS-equipped models, see appropriate ANTI-LOCK BRAKE SYSTEM article. Raise and support vehicle. Fill master cylinder reservoir to maximum mark with clean brake fluid. Bleed brakes in sequence. See BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. After bleeding brakes, depress brake pedal with a force equal to an abrupt stop. If sponginess exists, repeat bleeding procedure.
