Automatic Stop Test (Swift)

With front wiper motor harness connector disconnected, connect positive battery voltage to terminal No. 3 at wiper motor connector. Ground Black lead or housing at wiper motor connector. See Figure . Connect jumper wire between wiper motor connector terminals No. 1 and 4. Motor should stop at park position. Remove jumper wire and reconnect several times. Motor should stop at same point. If motor does not stop at same point, replace front wiper motor. See WIPER MOTOR  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
