Grand Vitara & Vitara

Disconnect multifunction switch assembly at steering column. Using ohmmeter, check resistance between SW wire terminal and GND wire terminal. See MULTIFUNCTION SWITCH ASSEMBLY RESISTANCE  table. See Fig 1 . If resistance is not as specified, replace multifunction switch assembly. See STEERING COLUMN SWITCHES article.
