Transmission Range Switch (A/T): Esteem
- Apply parking brake. Place shift lever in Neutral. Transmission range switch is located on top of transaxle just below shift cable. See Figure
.
- Loosen transmission range switch retaining bolts. Rotate shift switch so neutral reference line aligns with center line on manual valve shaft. See Fig 1
. Tighten transmission range switch retaining bolts to 14.5 ft. lbs. (20 N.m). Ensure engine starts only with shift lever in Park and Neutral.
