Grand Vitara & Vitara

Disconnect negative battery cable. Disconnect 20-pin PCM harness connector. PCM is located behind glove box. Using an ohmmeter, measure resistance between PCM connector C51-1 terminals No. 9 (Orange wire) and No. 10 (White wire). See Fig 1 . Resistance should be 369-451 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace VSS. See VEHICLE SPEED SENSOR (VSS)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
