Description & Operation
The power window system consists of 4 motors or actuators (one mounted on window regulator for each door). All models use a master power window switch located on driver's door trim panel. Individual power window switches are mounted on each door.
On all models, when ignition switch is in the ON position, battery voltage is applied to all window switches. The master power window switch has a lock-out function to prevent unwanted operation of all power window switches (except driver's side master power window switch) by providing ground for all switches and motors. The master power window switch also contains a solid-state auto-down circuit for the driver's window.
