Clutch Pedal Position Switch Circuit Check
- Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect Cruise Control Electronic Control Unit (CC ECU) harness connector. Using DVOM, check continuity between ground and CC ECU harness connector terminal No. 9. See Figure . With clutch pedal depressed, continuity should exist. With clutch pedal released, continuity should not exist.
- If continuity is not as specified, check clutch pedal position switch for proper installation. See CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH under ADJUSTMENTS. If clutch pedal position switch is adjusted properly, check clutch pedal position switch. See CLUTCH PEDAL POSITION SWITCH under COMPONENT TESTS.
