Operational Test (Grand Vitara & Vitara)
- Disconnect front wiper motor harness connector. Connect positive battery voltage to terminal "A" at front wiper motor connector. Ground Black lead or housing at wiper motor connector. See Fig 1
. Wiper motor should operate at low-speed of approximately 45-57 RPM. Remove positive battery voltage from terminal "A" and connect it to terminal "B" at wiper motor connector. Wiper motor should operate at high-speed of approximately 68-84 RPM.
- If wiper motor does not operate, operates at only one speed or at less than specified RPM, replace front wiper motor. See WIPER MOTOR
under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
