Starting System: Service Precautions
UNIT REPAIR OVERHAULFor overhauling of starting motor, it is recommended that component parts should be cleaned thoroughly. However, yoke assembly, armature coil, overrunning clutch assembly, magnetic switch assembly,rubber or plastic parts are NOT ALLOWED to be washed in degreasing tank or with grease dissolving solvent. Those parts should be cleaned by blowing air and wiping with cloth.
