Operational Test (Swift)

Disconnect front wiper motor harness connector. Connect positive battery voltage to terminal No. 1 at front wiper motor connector. Ground Black lead or housing at wiper motor connector. See Figure . Wiper motor should operate at low-speed of approximately 45-55 RPM. Remove positive battery voltage from terminal No. 1 and connect it to terminal No. 2 at wiper motor connector. Wiper motor should operate at high-speed of approximately 68-78 RPM. If wiper motor does not operate or operates at less than specified RPM, replace front wiper motor.
