DTC P0174: Fuel Trim System Lean Bank No. 2 Or DTC P0175: Fuel Trim System Rich Bank No. 2: Condition

DTC P0174 is set when Power Control Module (PCM) detects that total fuel trim of bank No. 2 is more than 33 percent. DTC P0175 is set when PCM detects that total fuel trim of bank No. 2 is less than -33 percent. MIL is illuminated when PCM detects malfunction during 2 consecutive drive cycles. Possible causes are:

• Intake system vacuum leaks.
• Exhaust system leaks.
• Incorrect fuel pressure.
• Fuel injector malfunction.
• HO2S B2 S1 malfunction.
• Mass Air Flow (MAF) sensor or circuit malfunction.
• Engine Coolant Temperature (ECT) sensor or circuit malfunction.
• Fuel level sensor or circuit malfunction.
