DTC 61: Pump Motor Circuit

  1. Test pump motor. See ABS ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY  under COMPONENT TESTS. Replace ABS actuator unit if faulty. If pump motor is okay, go to next step.
  2. Turn ignition off. Disconnect ABS control module. Inspect harness connector terminal No. A27 for corrosion and damage, repair as necessary. See Figure . Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. A27 (White/Blue wire). If battery voltage is present, go to next step. If battery voltage is not present, repair open White/Blue wire.
  3. Check continuity between ground and terminal No. A28 (Black wire) on ABS actuator harness connector. If continuity exists, replace ABS actuator assembly. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire.
