Test B: Abs Warning Light Stays On

  1. Perform DTC retrieval procedure. If any DTCs are present, repair malfunction causing DTC and recheck ABS warning light. If no DTCs are present, go to next step.
  2. Ensure ignition is off. Disconnect ABS actuator assembly connector. Inspect harness connector for damage or corrosion. Repair as needed. Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and terminal No. A25 (Black/White wire) on ABS actuator harness connector. If battery voltage does not exist, repair open Black/White wire. If battery voltage exists, go to next step.
  3. Ensure ignition is on. Connect jumper wire between ground and terminal No. A17 (Blue/Orange wire) on ABS actuator harness connector. See Figure . If ABS warning light is off, go to next step. If warning light is illuminated, repair open Blue/Orange wire.
  4. Turn ignition off. Check continuity between ground and terminal No. A10 (Black wire) on ABS actuator harness connector. If continuity exists, replace ABS actuator assembly. If continuity does not exist, repair open Black wire.
