DTC P0715 INPUT/TURBINE SPEED SENSOR CIRCUIT MALFUNCTION

CIRCUIT DESCRIPTION
Input shaft speed sensor is consists of permanent magnet, coil and gear. As the gear turns, the magneflux from the permanent magnet varies and a voltage of the frequency corresponding to the rotor revolution occurs in the coil.





DTC DETECTING CONDITION AND TROUBLE AREA

WARNING:
^ When performing a road test, select a place where there is no traffic or possibility of a traffic accident and very careful during to avoid occurrence of an accident.
^ Road test, should be carried out with 2 person, a driver and tester, on a level road.

DTC CONFIRMATION PROCEDURE
1. With ignition switch OFF, connect scan tool to DLC.
2. Clear DTC if any.
3. Start engine and shift transfer lever to "2H" or "4H" range.
4. Increase vehicle speed to about 60 km/h (40 mph) in "D" range.
5. Stop vehicle and check DTC and pending DTC.
