Speedometer Drive Gear and VSS Sensor Rotor (2WD)

SPEEDOMETER DRIVE GEAR AND SENSOR ROTOR (2WD VEHICLE) REMOVAL
1. Remove extension case from transmission referring to Extension Case, A/T.





2. Remove circlip and then pull off speedometer drive gear.
3. Remove steel ball, spacer and sensor rotor from output shaft.

INSTALLATION
1. Make sure that key is installed in the groove.
2. Install sensor rotor and spacer onto output shaft.
3. Install steel ball and drive gear onto output shaft.
4. Install new circlip onto output shaft and make sure that circlip fits in groove.
5. Install extension case to transmission referring to Extension Case, A/T.
