DTC P0111: Intake Air Temperature (IAT) Performance

  1. Disconnect IAT harness connector located next to air cleaner housing. Inspect connector terminals and repair as needed. Inspect IAT sensor. See SYSTEM/COMPONENT TESTS article. Replace as needed. If IAT sensor is okay, go to next step.
  2. Disconnect PCM harness connectors. Check continuity between Light Green/Black wire terminal on IAT harness connector and terminal No. 9 on PCM 16-pin harness connector. If continuity exists, go to next step. If continuity does not exist, repair Light Green/Black wire and retest system.
  3. Check continuity between Gray wire terminal on IAT harness connector and terminal No. 9 on PCM 16-pin harness connector. If continuity exists, replace PCM. If continuity does not exist, repair Light Green/Black wire and retest system.
